Le projet - France
Global Impact est un projet international donc l’objectif principal est l’éducation au développement durable des jeunes, en utilisant le théâtre forum comme principal outil pédagogique.
Une dizaine de jeunes est mobilisé dans chaque pays partenaire afin de s’impliquer de manière active dans le projet. Dans une première phase, les jeunes ont effectué des recherches sur le développement durable afin de mieux comprendre cette thématique et donc la promouvoir de manière optimale.
Une fois les notions de base acquises, ils effectuent un travail de création d’une pièce de théâtre forum avec l’aide de professionnels, sur l’un (ou plusieurs) des 8 sous thèmes de développement durable identifiés par le PNUD et l’UNESCO. Cette pièce donnera lieu à une représentation locale, et permettra de sensibiliser les citoyens locaux à ces thématiques.
En Octobre tous ces jeunes (Népalais, Burkinabés, Français, Espagnols, Bulgares et Indiens) se retrouveront pour un grand échange international en Inde. Il s’agit d’un moment de partage, de réflexion, et surtout de créativité, qui aboutira à une représentation de théâtre forum devant la population locale (citoyens et institutionnels).
Cette pièce sera le fruit d’une réflexion commune et multiculturelle, sur les thématiques du développement durable.
Au total, c’est près de 1000 personnes qui sont directement touchées par Global Impact, et plus de 7000 de manière indirecte.
Global Impact is an international project that took place in 6 different countries on 3 different continents. The objective is to promote education for sustainable development among young people, using forum theatre as the main pedagogical tool.
A dozen youths in each of 6 partner countries (Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, France, India, Nepal and Spain) were actively involved in the project. The first phase began with the youths in each country carrying out research on sustainable development in order to get to know and understand the ideas and hence be able to promote these values as much as possible.
With the help of a forum theatre professional, basic knowledge of forum theatre was gained and the youths in each country created a play on one or more of the 8 sub-themes of sustainable development, as identified by the UNDP and UNESCO. The plays were performed locally in front of audiences of 50 or more people and this helped to make the local citizens aware of these issues.
In October 2011, 30 youths from met for a big international exchange in India. This was a moment of sharing, reflecting and more importantly creating 3 plays on 3 different themes together to be performed in front of an audience made up of more than 700 local people (citizens and institutional representatives). This performance was the fruit of a common and multicultural reflection on the themes of sustainable development.
In total, around 1000 people were directly touched by Global Impact and more than 7000 people will be made aware of the project indirectly.
